The target audiences for our consultant services are nonprofits, businesses, education, and community organizations. We emphasize building capacity, equity, and resilience in communities so that everyone has a “seat” at the table. Because of this, the Everyone Thrives website is the front door to a vision that reflects this message. I want it to be clean, simple, and humble. It should be a tool to get to know me and the resources I can deliver and to learn a few things about yourself. As a consultant, educator, and business development specialist, I also want to provide opportunities for those who want to learn valuable content through written, oral and visual insights. This website gives you a deeper understanding of how we can make the vision of everyone thriving come to fruition.
“Our commitment is to help those who help others to Thrive. “
To thrive gives you a sense of development, improvement, and success. Sometimes it’s in your perspective or mindset, but more often it’s in needing others to assist, support and care for.
My journey begins with a simple idea and a deep-rooted desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Throughout my diverse background as a teacher, coach, school administrator, consultant, and business development specialist, one question has always driven me: How can I improve myself and others? This question has become the foundation of my mantra: “A rising tide will float all boats.”
My vision is to empower individuals to thrive in their work, achieve their goals, and lead purposeful lives. By helping others succeed, I, too, will find fulfillment. I prioritize caring for my mind, body, and soul to maintain a balanced life. My approach involves nurturing my faith, spending time with family and friends, engaging in recreational activities, exploring the outdoors, and savoring the simple pleasures of coffee and food. Reading, writing, and traveling also hold a special place in my heart, filling the gaps in my journey.
In my pursuit of balance, I am on a continuous journey of sustainability and personal growth. While I strive for an ideal practice, I am honest in acknowledging that perfection is elusive. I am committed to playing the long game, adapting to circumstances, and embracing flexibility.
Through professional consulting, social sector networking services, and business development in the healthcare industry, I have been fortunate to assist others. Collaboration with like-minded individuals fuels innovation, creativity, and the development of robust social networks that enrich lives.
Together, we recharge our batteries through teamwork and the pursuit of knowledge. Could we embark on this journey together?
I invite you to explore this website, where you can delve into my thoughts, interests, and insights on living a better life. For more comprehensive information, I encourage you to visit my LinkedIn profile and Langlois Consultant Services Business Page.
Wishing you all the best,
Ray reached out to several nonprofits to help them during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Community Pathways Organization was a grateful recipient of his pro-bono services. As a new nonprofit, writing grants is a difficult but necessary task to ensure the organization can support the community during a crisis. Ray was instrumental in assisting Community Pathways Organization in writing a successful grant. Thank you for your service to the community Ray!
– Vicky McCown Executive Director at Community Pathways Organization
I have had the pleasure of working with Ray as we both have public health experience and the shared interest of improving community health and well-being through cross- sector partnership and engagement with communities most impacted. Ray brings people together, builds effective groups, and nurtures an appetite and zeal for ongoing learning, development and results. He is driven by values which is evident in the way he expands discussions to get to the root of the matter and does not rest until real, true impact is achieved. I admire his passion, humility, and drive to tackle work while building true intersectional relationships.
– Abena Asante Senior Program Officer, St. David’s Foundation
Ray has an amazing knack for gathering and challenging a wide range of people and organizations in meaningful and inspiring ways to ensure communities are maximizing their resources and efforts to address our most pressing needs. He understands and can communicate the power of a proactive and collaborative approach which ensures all voice are heard and valued while staying focused on the goal and remaining people-first centered. I’m grateful for Ray’s leadership in our community and value his input and guidance on the issues and concerns that challenge us!
– Karen Ranus Executive Director at NAMI Central Texas
Ray is a gifted leader, strategic thinker, and connector. We met in 2017. Every time we talk or work together, I learn something new. Don’t be fooled by his kind, humble, gentle demeanor – Ray is a powerhouse of strategic ideas and insights. He asks great questions. He is an amazing coalition-builder and true servant leader. He cares deeply about improving people’s lives, and has spent his career serving others. I’ve turned to Ray many times for advice and guidance, and have found him to be thoughtful, insightful, and able to be direct and honest while remaining generous and kind. He’s helped me see challenges in new ways, and pointed out issues I hadn’t thought of yet, but should.
– Amy McGeady Chief Executive Officer at It’s Time Texas
I worked with Ray when he was hired to be the Census Ambassador by the Williamson County. Warm and trustworthy on our first connection, Ray was just the perfect person to be in charge of the community outreach. Ray took no time to master his knowledge, map out strategies and dive right into the numerous platforms to raise awareness of the Census among the community. When great strategy meets with diligent execution, that is the talent every company and organization dream to have. Ray is one of those talents.
– Fang Fang President and CEO at the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce
I’m delighted to highly recommend Ray Langlois. Ray brings vast experience and skills in community health planning, coalition building, education systems and leadership, and strategic planning, among other key community health and development areas of expertise. Ray has provided exceptional guidance in strategic visioning for our work with the Community Collaborative for Child Health, ongoing exchange of best practices with health coalition initiatives- including exchange with the Austin/Travis County Community Health Improvement, as well as health coalition ‘active learning’ sessions for my graduate students. It’s my pleasure to recommend Ray for community health consulting and strategic planning.
